For the fall intake 2024, KAIST University is accepting applications for Master’s and PhD degree studies. International students are eligible to apply for the KAIST Graduate Scholarship. Benefits of KAIST Graduate Scholarship
The KAIST University offers three types of scholarships to international students for graduate degree programs in 2024.
Advantages of KAIST University Scholarship:
- The scholarship covers total tuition Fee Exemption (4 semesters for Master’s degree, 10 semesters for Master’s-Ph.D. integrated degree, and 8 semesters for Ph.D. degree).
A Guarantee Monthly Stipend of KRW 350,000 for Master’s and KRW 400,000 for Ph.D. degree programs. - Premium National Health Insurance per month.
- An opportunity to do part-time jobs in South Korea.
Advantages of KAIST Global Presidential Scholarship:
- Full Tuition Grant for 4 semesters
- A Guarantee Monthly Stipend of KRW 1,000,000 for 4 semesters
Advantages of the Global Korea Scholarship:
- The GKS program covers monthly allowance, settlement allowance, airfare, language training fee, and tuition fee.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be international nationality holders who do not hold Korean citizenship.
- Must have a Master’s degree proof for the Ph.D. degree program application.
- Must have a bachelor’s Degree proof for the Master’s or master’s Ph.D. degree program application.
- English Language Proficiency Required Grades (IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL iBT: 83, TEPS: 326, and TOEIC: 720).
- In South Korea there are over 80 to 90% of lectures are offered in English.
