The ANSO offers fully funded scholarships for international students. The scholarship will cover living expenses and travel allowance. Overview of the ANSO Scholarship

The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) Scholarship is a Chinese scholarship program. It offers 200 scholarships for master’s degree programs and 300 scholarships for PhD degree programs each year. International students can study for their master’s or PhD degree at three different Chinese institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must not hold Chinese citizenship.
  • English or Chinese proficiency is also required.
  • Master degree students should be born after 1st January 1994 (inclusive)
  • PhD degree students should be born after 1st January 1989 (inclusive)
  • Candidates must also meet the USTC and UCAS University eligibility requirements.
  • If you already have taken a Chinese scholarship, you are not eligible.
  • You will be disqualified if you apply for the ANSO Scholarship in both USTC and UCAS simultaneously.
