Visa Types To Work In Luxembourg
There are two types of seasonal worker visas such as 1) Short Stay Visa and 2) Long Stay Visa.
Short Stay Visa: This visa allows the applicants to stay and seasonal work in Luxembourg for less than 3 months.

Requirements to Apply for the Luxembourg Seasonal Work Visa
- Applicants must be Non-EU citizens with a valid passport.
- A completed application form is required for temporary permission to stay.
- Must have proof of sufficient financial resources that show that you can cover your expenses during your stay in Luxembourg.
- Applicants who have a seasonal work contract for employment classified as seasonal activity in Luxembourg.

Application Process For Seasonal Worker
Step 1: The application process for staying less than 3 months in Luxembourg.
A third-country national (means non-EU National) must obtain a work permit to work as a seasonal worker in Luxembourg.
- Find a seasonal worker job first.
- Your employer in Luxembourg must obtain a certificate from the National Employment Agency.
- After obtaining the certificate the employee can sign a contract with an employer.
- After that, your employer must apply for a work permit on your behalf.
- You have to wait at least 3 months, If you have not received any response within this time, the application will be considered rejected.
- If the work permit application is approved you will get your work permit by post.
Step 2: Application Process For Staying Longer than 3 Months:
Follow a 2-step procedure to live in Luxembourg for more than 3 months:
- Apply for temporary authorization to stay before entering Luxembourg. Your employer will do this step.
- Go to the nearest embassy/consulate of Luxembourg in your home country and apply for a type D visa.
- File an arrival declaration within 3 days of arrival after entering Luxembourg.
- Go through Medical Checkup and then apply for a residence permit.
