Overview Of Shanghai Government Scholarships

The SGS (Shanghai Government Scholarship) program is a fully funded program that offers funding for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at Chinese Universities. Applicants from various countries are eligible for this SGS program. It has two types of scholarships 1) Type A and 2) Type B, both types of scholarships differ in their benefits. SGS Scholarship Benefits

SGS Type A (Full Scholarship):

Covers all tuition fees for your chosen program either BS, MS, or PhD.
On-campus accommodation fee or a housing allowance.
Comprehensive medical insurance.
A monthly living stipend to cover your living expenses in China.
Basically covers all the important financial aspects of your study in Shanghai.

SGS Type B (Partial Scholarship):

Covers tuition fees for BS, MS, and PhD programs.
Comprehensive medical insurance.
