International students with high academic records can apply for the Macau scholarships in China. The scholarship offers full-time Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs for those students who meet the admission requirements of the program. Scholarship Benefits for Bachelor Students:
- Waiver of Tuition fee, Residential College fee (shared bedroom), Minor program fee (if applicable), and Honours College certificate program fee (if applicable).
Scholarship Benefits for Master Students
- Waiver of Tuition fee, waiver of Postgraduate House fee (twin room).
Scholarship Duration
- The maximum duration of the Bachelor’s degree Scholarship is the normal study period which is 2 or 3 years.
- The maximum duration of the Master’s degree Scholarship is the normal study period which is 4 or 5 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible for the University of Macau International Students Scholarships.
- All international students except citizens of China can apply.
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree certificate to apply for a Master’s degree program.
- International applicants must meet the University of Macau admission requirements of the respective degree program.
- The nationality holders of China including Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, and Macao SAR, is not considered international applicants.
Application Process For the University of Macau Scholarships
International students who want to be considered for the UM scholarships must apply for admission first, successful applicants will automatically be considered for the scholarship. There is no separate application process for the scholarships.
